I have been working on this since I finished Draith 
But I was finally able to find some time to get it done!
2 of 2 requests for
done as payment for an adopt.
This is her OC Tension Vega
I wanted to try some dynamic shading (as opposed to my normal shading which tends to not have a real light source). I think I did a fairly decent job at it
I used cel shading instead of blended shading. As for the b/g.. i dont know for sure why he's in the middle of a field with hills but it's better than my typical blank b/g. On top of that I also drew feathered wings, which I think I have trouble with. I'm fairly proud of how these turned out

Good experiments here with the variation of the shading. The use of cel shading for the character makes it clearly distinguishable from the background, which uses soft shading. It has a slightly animated appearance. To me, he doesn't look shy but more like he's standing out in the cold, exposed to the elements. The way he's wrapped up in the scarf and grabbing it tightly suggests this. He also looks kinda disgruntled like he's thinking, "Why on Earth did you bring me out here for?"
